Introducing our Mental Health / Medical Providers:
- Specializing in Psychiatry for Echota Behavioral Health, Dr. David Peyok also holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration. A veteran, Dr. Peyok deployed in 2008 and served active duty in the U. S. Army, in Ramadi, Iraq. He is a 2012 Pat Tillman Scholar recipient. He continues his military service in the Oklahoma Army National Guard and serves veterans, as a psychiatry resident for the Jack C. Montgomery Veterans Hospital. Dr. Peyok is one of less than five percent of the medical staff that have served in the Armed Forces.
- Dr. Harold Pierre is a dually Board-Certified Anesthesiologist and Addiction Medicine Specialist. He graduated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where he earned the recognition title of Resident Teacher of the Year. Dr. Pierre is the Medical Director of our Tulsa location for Methadone assisted treatment and recovery, Keetoowah Cherokee Treatment Services (KCTS). A dedicated supporter of addiction treatment, he understands the difficulties in finding effective drug rehabilitation methods and is committed to making a difference. Every day, he looks into the latest medical studies to find new and better ways to help those struggling with addiction. This approach keeps Dr. Pierre at the leading edge of addiction medicine, offering his patients the best possible care.
- Ashley Totten-Gilbert, AGPCNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, brings a deeply personal and professional commitment to mental health and addiction medicine as a highly skilled and compassionate nurse practitioner dual certified in psychiatric-mental health and gerontology primary care. With a master's degree in both specialties, Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her clients at KCTS. Her background heightens her empathy and understanding of the complexities surrounding substance use disorders and clients in crisis. With a compassionate approach, addressing both the physical and psychological aspects, Ashley is committed to breaking the cycles of addiction by integrating evidence-based, comprehensive, and individualized therapies; recognizing the resilience and potential for healing in each client.
- Jason Barr is the Healthcare Administrator for KCTS, Tulsa. Jason's professional career in healthcare has been spent working in Northeast Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas. He is versed in all aspects of healthcare, with an emphasis in Administration of Provider Relations for Hospitals, Clinics, Cardiovascular and Surgical Services and Analytics. Born and raised in Oklahoma, of Cherokee and Choctaw descent, Jason takes pride in having grown up very culturally enriched. He enjoys sports, hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
